#ShopBleecker Day Will Feature Deals, Special Guests, Events, Giveaways, and More to Encourage Community Support of the Iconic Village Street.

New York, NY (November 14, 2017) – The month- long #ShopBleecker initiative is in full swing and #ShopBleecker Day is fast approaching! On Saturday, November 18th, patrons of participating businesses will continue to enjoy special deals and discounts, but they will also experience fun and unique events, including a picnic brunch with complimentary hot beverages and small bites along with a warm welcome and speeches from local politicians.

#ShopBleecker day kicks off at Father Demo Square at 220 Bleecker Street (at 6th Avenue and Carmine Street), at noon with a greeting from Maria Diaz, the executive director of the Greenwich Village Chelsea Chamber of Commerce, followed by remarks from State Senator Brad Hoylman (author of "Bleaker on Bleecker”), Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer & Assemblymember Deborah Glick, and a picnic brunch with refreshments provided by David’s Tea and Bantam Bagels.

In addition to deals and events, these businesses have also donated goods and services to be included in prize packages (valued between $750-$900 each) to be raffled off on both November 18th (6pm) and 30th (5pm). Shoppers can bring in their receipts from participating businesses to 359 Bleecker Street and for every $50 spent, they will get one raffle ticket.
